I am very happy and proud that my Lime and lemon mosaics stay in private collections in Brazil. They were inspired by the delicious fruits of Brazil and made with THE Brazilian mosaic material Vidrotil.
125 mosaic tiles made by the staff members of the UNDP Brazil were installed in October 2018 on this wall at the UN house in Brasilia: On 24th of October the wall was inaugurated in an exciting ceremony: The testemonies from the participants were expressing the pride to have done such a project from the top administration to the support staff. You remember my blog about the Lizard mosaic I made with my friends? On March 26 we (Mabes the mason and I) installed it in an orphanage in Ceilandia, one of the Satellite cities of Brasilia. It was lots of dust and debris as half the wall came off when Mabes took off the tiles! But in the end all happy and colorful!
